Nuevos Productos para Restauración y Conservación del Patrimonio Cultural

Abstract

Nuestro grupo de investigación desarrolla nuevos nanomateriales, con aplicación en la restauración y conservación del patrimonio cultural construido. Estos materiales se obtienen mediante una síntesis simple y de bajo coste, que se puede producir in situ sobre el propio monumento o edificio histórico. Nuestros productos son aplicables como: (1) consolidantes, (2) hidrofugantes y superhidrofugantes, (3) repelentes de manchas, (4) fotocatalizadores con propiedades auto-limpiantes. Estos productos han sido protegidos mediante cinco patentes de invención, encontrándose cuatro de ellas, actualmente, en explotación.
