Abstract

Dicho brevemente, el objetivo del siguiente artículo es reflexionar sobre la emergencia de impulsar procesos de transformación universitaria a partir del análisis de las vulnerabilidades, ya que los cambios acelerados que la sociedad y todo el planeta presenta se manifiestan en la crisis civilizatoria, resultado del modelo económico que se expresan en todas las vertientes propias de una sociedad depredadora y que genera incertidumbre en el plano local y global, tanto en el orden económico, político, social y ambiental, creando retos permanentes a las universidades para repensar el nivel de compromiso en el cumplimiento de sus funciones. La pandemia del COVID 19, puso al descubierto las vulnerabilidades que se tienen como países y universidades, reflexionar sobre este y otros fenómenos conducirá, a plantear acciones en el corto, mediano y largo plazo, sobre los paradigmas y la proyección científica que se debe impulsar.
