Plataformas de economía colaborativa y su impacto en el desarrollo turístico de las PYMES hoteleras de Manabí – Ecuador

Abstract

La economía colaborativa es una nueva tendencia que permite realizar una acción comercial y generar fuentes de empleo a través de plataformas digitales, causando una disrupción en el proceso habitual del mismo, por el cual se pueden relacionar comercialmente miembros de una comunidad, ya sea para vender, intercambiar, o alquilar algún producto o servicio. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo demostrar el impacto de las plataformas de economía colaborativa en el desarrollo turístico de las PYMES de Manabí. Este estudio es de carácter argumentativo, pues analiza la forma en que el consumo colaborativo ha tomado impulso en los últimos años, gracias a estas plataformas innovadoras que conectan a potenciales usuarios de un bien o servicio con sus oferentes. Además, es cuantitativo, con diseño descriptivo, correlacional no experimental. Se aplicó una encuesta estructurada con escala de Likert, conformada por 40 ítems, realizada a 246 PYMES. Con el coeficiente de Rho de Spearman, se comprobaron las hipótesis planteadas, demostrando una correlación positiva de (0,991) entre las variables plataformas de economía colaborativa y desarrollo turístico de las PYMES hoteleras.
