Abstract

El estado de Oaxaca es reconocido a nivel mundial como referente turístico por la cantidad de atractivos que posee, entre los que se encuentran artesanías, tradiciones, costumbres regionales, gastronomía y arquitectura, mismo reconocimiento fue la base para que la administración gubernamental del periodo 2011-2016 implementar como estrategia de desarrollo diez rutas turísticas, como producto potencializado de la actividad turística en el estado. Entendiendo como ruta turística la secuencia territorial y de actividades comprendidas dentro de un itinerario que garantiza una experiencia al visitante.
