Abstract

La presente investigación titulada “La actividad turística, una firme apuesta en Cienfuegos†tiene como objetivo general analizar el comportamiento de la actividad turística en Cienfuegos, ya que el turismo es uno de los sectores que presentan mayores crecimientos en los últimos años en esta provincia de Cuba. Para realizar esta investigación, fue revisada tanto bibliografía internacional, como nacional, con apoyo a las principales bases de información estadística, así como en las noticias divulgadas en los diferentes medios de comunicación. Para analizar la actividad turística en Cienfuegos, se realizó primeramente un resumen de los principales antecedentes del turismo en Cuba, lo cual resulta muy útil al momento de entender nuestra realidad actual.
