Análisis socioeconómico: población rural del Cantón Naranjito provincia del Guayas

Abstract

El Cantón Naranjito forma parte de la provincia del Guayas, está ubicada en la región cálida y húmeda de la costa, al poseer un clima tropical, siempre se ha caracterizado por ser agrícola, ya que posee de suelos muy fértiles aptos para el cultivo de diversas plantas, de las cuales las más sobresalientes son: la caña de azúcar, el cacao, el banano, la piña, el maíz, la sandía entre otras. De acuerdo con el análisis el Cantón Naranjito dispone de 25.000 hectáreas para cultivos permanentes. La actividad más prolifera que tiene el Cantón Naranjito en el área rural es la agricultura, ganadería, silvicultura y pesca representados con el 48,7% por lo cual el sistema laboral en el sector urbano mayoritariamente los varones se destacan en las diferentes actividades de la economía, las mismas que pueden ser de comercio, administrativo y obrero, por otro lado las mujeres que se encuentran en el sector rural tienen más relevancia ya que se dedican especialmente en cosechas del cacao y en las empacadoras de banano. Se considera que el “Análisis Socioeconómico de la población rural del Cantón Naranjito Provincia del Guayas†servirá como método de indagación para determinar el entorno familiar, económico y social en el cual se desenvuelven los habitantes de este sector, dejando a conocimiento, los niveles de vida que gozan de estas familias, lo que servirá de precedente para futuras soluciones de los problemas y falencias del sector por parte de los entes competentes.
