Contenidos mediáticos y estereotipos socioculturales en torno a los realitys show ecuatorianos

Abstract

El creciente impacto negativo que tienen la telebasura en los jóvenes constituye el problema fundamental de este estudio que tiene como objetivo analizar la la influencia de los medios de comunicación en los adolescentes ecuatorianos. En este sentido se realizó un microanálisis del Programa “BLN†de “Canal Uno†en el desarrollo de estereotipos socioculturales en adolescentes de entre 14 y 16 años. Se realizó un trabajo de campo con una muestra probabilística de 106 estudiantes basados en una metodología de enfoque mixto, bajo tipología descriptiva y explicativa apoyado en técnicas como la encuesta que sirvieron para medir algunos indicadores del estudio. Los principales resultados se basan en que este tipo de programas causan una distorsión en la formación de cada uno los jóvenes, desviándolos de la realidad adoptando estereotipos y comportamientos inadecuados con una fuerte inclinación a posturas sexistas y de discriminación social basado en paradigmas de bellezas.
