Popular e movimento social: construindo a práxis militante do levante popular da juventude-PARAUAPEBAS

Abstract

A educação popular nasceu fora da escola, no seio das organizações populares. Seus princípios e metodologias, com bases emancipatórias, tiveram uma grande repercussão na sociedade que acabaram cruzando fronteiras, influenciando práticas educativas nos espaços escolares e espaços não escolares. Desta forma, foram identificadas e analisadas as práticas de educação popular em movimentos sociais, tendo como estudo de caso os encontros do Levante Popular da Juventude da cidade de Parauapebas-PA. Para isso, laça-se mão dos seguintes procedimentos metodológicos: a) levantamento bibliográfico sobre temas, teorias e categorias pertinentes a pesquisa; b) observação participante; c) analise e sistematização dos resultados. Demonstra-se, então, a importância da construção de uma educação a partir do conhecimento do povo e com o povo que é base para a formação dos militantes do Levante Popular da Juventude em Parauapebas.
