Crítica a las “imposturas†posmodernas

Abstract

En apenas tres décadas, el fenómeno llamado posmodernismo se ha extendido desde los centros de poder occidentales hasta los países periféricos o del llamado Tercer Mundo, convirtiéndose en el esquema de pensamiento oficial que rige los destinos de las sociedades contemporáneas, y en el modelo a seguir desde el punto de vista cultural, filosófico, social, estético, y hasta político. Pese a su innegable dominio en la actualidad, el posmodernismo avanza sin ser efectivamente entendido e incluso hasta sus propios creadores caen en erróneos postulados científicos. Igualmente, su vínculo con el abarcador proceso de la globalización, aunque es bien conocido, permanece poco comprendido más allá del puro lenguaje académico. Sin embargo, no se debe descartar la notable influencia que ejerce sobre las culturas regionales y nacionales, especialmente en los países del Tercer Mundo.
