Plan de manejo de ecoturismo como herramienta para mejorar la gestión de un área protegida, caso de estudio Refugio Ecológico Molinuco

Abstract

La presente investigación parte de un estudio de camp,o sobre la necesidad de proponer un plan de manejo de ecoturismo en el refugio ecológico Molinuco ubicado en la provincia de Pichincha, cantón Pintag, el cual cuenta con 80ha en donde reciben turistas durante todo el año para realizar actividades de ecoturismo. Debido a la inadecuada gestión turística en el refugio ecológico, se propone el diseño de un plan de manejo eco turístico, el cual contará con 6 subprogramas que aporten al mejoramiento de la gestión turística del refugio. Para esta investigación se utilizó la metodología de Drumm y Moore, la misma que consta de 5 pasos y se ejecutaron los 3 primeros pasos que corresponden al estudio preliminar del área, su diagnóstico y por último la propuesta.
