La inteligencia emocional y su impacto en el desempeño laboral

Abstract

Nuestras emociones y la forma en las que las interpretamos juegan un papel clave al momento de tomar decisiones, independientemente si se trata de un contribuidor individual o un cargo de liderazgo. Una persona puede poseer todos los estilos de liderazgo y adaptarse a las situaciones a las que se enfrenta, sin embargo, si carece de inteligencia emocional puede llevar a la quiebra de la compañía o la desintegración de su grupo de trabajo. El presente artículo hace referencia a la inteligencia emocional y la interacción que existe con el desempeño laboral. La finalidad de la presente investigación es proporcionar una herramienta documental que permita identificar las diferentes habilidades emocionales, la forma en que impactan dentro de la empresa y los aspectos necesarios para mejorar la inteligencia emocional, así como el bienestar emocional para alcanzar la felicidad.
