Enfermedades vectoriales: dengue y afectación en el rendimiento académico

Abstract

La presente indagación se realiza en beneficio de los estudiantes de un aula regular, respecto a la incidencia de las enfermedades provocadas por la picadura de insectos, específicamente conocer los avances médicos y científicos respecto del Dengue y su repercusión en el rendimiento académico. También se analizan las recientes investigaciones desarrolladas sobre esta enfermedad que afecta a todos, especialmente a los niños por ser el sector más vulnerable, por este motivo tanto la familia como el equipo docente necesitan adquirir experiencia y conocimientos en esta área, así como disponer de recursos y programas específicos para prevenir la reproducción del insecto transmisor. Sería importante aplicar un plan remedial para recuperar al estudiante que ha faltado a clases debido a los síntomas tan molestos provocados por el dengue. El tema se apoya en la interdisciplinaridad porque involucra profesionalmente a médicos y a docentes, en vista de que la mayoría de las personas y en especial los profesores no están familiarizados con los síntomas del Dengue y es necesario conocer de qué manera esta enfermedad afecta a los estudiantes para intervenir más eficazmente en los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje y lograr que este grupo vulnerable logre un mejor rendimiento académico.
