Turismo cultural en centros históricos y patrimoniales. Uso y funciones del espacio público

Abstract

La adaptación de la actividad turística al espacio público a nivel mundial en los nuevos tiempos, así como la visión que se tiene sobre su función dentro de la ciudad moderna hace necesario una resignificación y revalorización de estos en los Centros Históricos, concibiéndose no sólo por su valor histórico, cultural y social sino también por su dimensión económica, para lograr un desarrollo integral autofinanciado que haga recuperable y productiva la inversión de restauración y conservación de los mismos. Se utilizaron métodos empíricos para la recopilación de la información También se aplicaron métodos teóricos como el histórico-lógico, el análisis-síntesis, el inductivo-deductivo y el análisis bibliográfico.
