Responsabilidad social empresarial hotelera: estudio de caso en las universidades colombianas

Abstract

Este estudio pretende mediante la metodología cualitativa y específicamente el método de estudio de caso, comprender las conceptualizaciones y prácticas de RSE hotelera que desarrollan las universidades del país que ofertan programas de administración turística y hotelera. Estos elementos son relevantes teniendo en cuenta que las universidades son en últimas quienes generan conocimiento orientado a las necesidades de los futuros profesionales, las organizaciones y la sociedad en su conjunto, y por ende, son responsables en la divulgación e interiorización que se efectúa de estas nociones teóricas. Por otro lado, la investigación propuesta es pionera en el sector, con lo cual a futuro se podrán realizar estudios posteriores que incorporan esta perspectiva metodológica y que contribuyan en sitios geográficos diferentes a esclarecer la estructuración del tejido social del sector, a la vez que se aporta a la solución de la crisis epistémica de la administración turística por medio de la reflexión decantada de postulados alternativos como los propuestos por la Escuela de Montreal, a partir de la óptica radical humanista.
