Eficiencia de la Política en el sector Salud en Nicaragua

Abstract

Usando información disponible en la EMNV 2014, se analizan y se estudian las características que influencian a los hogares de Nicaragua a demandar servicios de salud, sean públicos o privados. El análisis se realiza a través de técnicas estadísticas convencionales al mismo tiempo se plantea y se estima un modelo de regresión econométrica del tipo Logit para estimar la probabilidad de pagar por servicios médicos. Los resultados demuestran la importancia de aplicar de una mejor manera las políticas de salud gratuita. No es necesario aplicar más políticas, lo importante es aplicarlas de una mejor manera en donde se vea una mejor distribución de los recursos en todos los sectores sociales de la población.
