Comparación del sistema ambiental del Coturniz Coturniz (Codornices) entre la región costa y la región amazoníca ecuatoriana

Abstract

Este estudio se enfoca en la crianza y desarrollo de las codornices en dos regiones del Ecuador, la Amazonia y la Costa, ambas zonas de diferentes condiciones climáticas. Las codornices coturnix coturnix es originaria de Asia con más características de ponedora, con un peso promedio de 128 gramos y cuyo consumo diario de alimento oscila entre los 22 y 25 gramos. Hoy por hoy es muy difícil encontrar Japónicas puras en el mundo, pues sus diferentes cruces con la "Pharaon" le han restado presencia. La Codorniz Japónica en nuestro país se puede criar en la mayoría de los pisos térmicos, aunque es menos activa en los climas muy fríos. En la región Amazónica al contar con un clima cálido húmedo estas especies presentan cierta sensibilidad a la variación climática y en la zona de la Costa las condiciones son propicias para su desarrollo. La finalidad de esta investigación es la propuesta de un sistema ambiental propicio a las necesidades y condiciones de la especie en las dos zonas ecuatorianas.
