Abstract

La contribución al fortalecimiento del conocimiento de la Historia local constituye una prioridad para la Universidad cubana actual, en particular la del barrio La Cuba establece una preferencia para su estudio, es por ello, que en el presente artículo los autores proponen un plan de acciones socioculturales que promueva dicho conocimiento, en aras de que la comunidad sea la protagonista de este proyecto, a través de su participación en la propuesta y ejecución del plan de acciones; con la finalidad de que los valores, las tradiciones, la cultura y la historia de la comunidad enriquezca el sentido de identidad de los contramaestrenses.
