Impacto de la severa sequía en la provincia de las Tunas

Abstract

La investigación aborda una temática pertinente y muy polemizada a nivel mundial. Se enfoca en la sequía, como problema global y como uno de los mayores impactos del cambio climático para la humanidad, con énfasis en la provincia de Las Tunas, ubicada en la región oriental de Cuba. Alentados en la necesidad de contribuir a formar un profesional integral y competente, comprometido en la construcción de una mejor sociedad. Se pretende compilar información dispersa sobre el tema, a fin de socializarla en los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Las Tunas, de modo que se logre valores éticos, sentido de pertenencia y sentimientos que se traduzcan en modos de actuación que evidencien su capacidad de adaptación a las nuevas condiciones, asumiendo de manera responsable el reto de convivir en armonía con el medioambiente, como alternativa viable para avanzar hacia el desarrollo sostenible. Destacan los métodos de análisis y síntesis, lógico - histórico, revisión bibliográfica y la observación, que permitieron compilar información actualizada sobre el impacto de la sequía en Las Tunas. Se pretende socializar la información compilada asociada a la sequía para elevar el conocimiento sobre el tema en los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Las Tunas.
