Abstract

Introducción: Las actitudes y comportamientos ambientales en estudiantes de la carrera de Licenciatura en Enfermería y Licenciatura en Psicología pueden ser un buen indicador del avance que se ha logrado en materia de educación ambiental, ya que la educación superior constituye el espacio formativo responsable donde han adquirido los conocimientos y habilidades que les permita tomar decisiones e integrase de manera satisfactoria al desarrollo de nuestro país. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de actitudes y comportamientos ambientales en estudiantes universitarios. El estudio es descriptivo transversal con una población de 80 alumnos de nivel superior, se aplicó la escala para la evaluación de las actitudes pro-ambientales de alumnos universitarios (Rivera & Rodríguez, 2009). La actitud que destaca en los estudiantes es estar muy de acuerdo en lo relacionado a que el incremento de la contaminación podría ser perjudicial para la salud, y un porcentaje alto apoyaría la sanción para aquellos que originen contaminación.
