Abstract

El propósito primordial de este trabajo es ofrecer a la Institución una visión del estado actual en la aplicación del proceso de selección de personal e identificar los requisitos solicitados tanto en otras instituciones educativas, como en organizaciones del sector privado. La necesidad de contar con personal preparado, profesionistas capaces para la resolución de problemas, ha dado como resultado la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias para encontrar el personal idóneo, compatible con los requisitos del puesto. Este trabajo plantea la importancia que tiene el docente en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje y porqué la conveniencia de contar con un proceso selectivo riguroso para el ingreso de personal académico, así como los objetivos que persigue la investigación realizada. Durante la investigación realizada para el presente trabajo se entrevistó a personal ejecutivo de algunas empresas a quienes se les formuló la pregunta. ¿Qué parte del proceso de reclutamiento y selección considera decisivo para contratar? La respuesta fue la entrevista. Se da por hecho que una entrevista a fondo, bien estructurada y realizada por la persona idónea dará como resultado la obtención de toda la información requerida sobre el interesado.
