Coplas Para Despuã‰S De Una Guerra: Mujer Y Franquismo En Las Canciones Populares

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la situación de la mujer española de posguerra a través de las canciones populares, concretamente del género musical de la copla. La dictadura franquista impuso un modelo social en el que la mujer tenía un papel determinado: ser esposa y madre. Un modelo tradicional que lo abarcó todo, incluido la cultura popular. Copla y mujer estuvieron muy relacionadas durante estos años porque desde las canciones se defendía un determinado tipo de mujer. Los modelos y roles femeninos que allí se cantaban son analizados para poner de relieve la apropiación del franquismo de las canciones populares conocidas como coplas.
