Abstract

Lo mejor del cine de autor en estos años se ha desenvuelto en una apuesta por la sensorialidad y por una representación del cuerpo en transformación. En ningún momento como éste el cuerpo se ha posicionado como temática, asunto y excusa para tratar todo un universo de metáforas sobre la identidad. La historia de la representación humana ha sido, de alguna manera, la de la representación del cuerpo y, sin duda, su reflexión es un valor creciente de elucidación del cine contemporáneo de calidad. En este cine de autor, de éxito en los festivales de cine de categoría A pueden encontrarse ejemplos donde el cuerpo se propone un lugar de experimentación de la representación.
