La institucionalización del programa PESA en las agendas del gobierno de Honduras

Abstract

El presente trabajo de corte cualitativo pretende hacer visible el proceso de institucionalización del Programa Especial de Seguridad Alimentaria en la agenda de trabajo del gobierno de Honduras. Si bien es cierto que el camino ha sido lento, es posible argumentar un avance significativo en materia de legislación y acuerdos intergubernamentales, que han puesto de manifiesto no sólo la preocupación por combatir la pobreza alimentaria, sino la toma de decisiones para erradicar este problema. Aunado a lo anterior, se hace un estudio de los principales actores involucrados en torno al programa, poniendo en evidencia que tanto actores locales como internacionales han actuado de manera transversal y conjunta para lograr uno de los objetivos de milenio: combatir la pobreza y el hambre en el mundo.
