La contribución de las microregiones al desarrollo local

Abstract

La construcción de las microregiones aparecen en el medio de una situación crítica para los gobiernos locales que tienen que encarar programas que articulen lo productivo y lo social con escasos recursos y con pocas incumbencias legales. No obstante ello, diversas experiencias en Argentina han logrado conformar regiones que potencian lo “local” en una escala mayor, con la intención de mejorar las condiciones de asociatividad entre los productores y los empresarios, y de tener mejores chances para competir con otras regiones. De este modo, las microregiones en Argentina han tendido a instrumentarse a través de distintos modelos que buscan vincular actores del Estado, del sector privado y de organizaciones sociales, siempre en el marco de una crisis económica muy profunda.
