Abstract

El ensayo que se presenta seguidamente recoge algunas experiencias exitosas de desarrollo local en Bolivia y su contraste con algunos fundamentos teóricos y legales que expresan en gran medida el proceso político y estratégico que abordan los estados para la materialización de la participación protagónica de las comunidades en el empoderamiento de sus propias propuestas de intervención y desarrollo. Así como el papel de las organizaciones públicas y privadas en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la población en general. Se evidencia gran correspondencia entre las bases constitucionales del desarrollo local tanto de Bolivia como de Venezuela, lo cual ha llevado a configurar algunas recomendaciones que pueden ser aplicables en otros contextos locales y latinoamericanos.
