Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende rescatar, mediante una mirada ecocrítica, una de las obras que si bien no formó parte del llamado boom literario sí perteneció a una literatura que en Latinoamérica, antes de 1960, ya había entrado en un periodo evolutivo y había logrado sorprender con sus nuevas y complejas estructuras literarias. El estudio que aquí proponemos intenta un acercamiento a la novela Pedro Páramo, del escritor mexicano Juan Rulfo; esta vez apoyándonos en los postulados de una relativamente novedosa teoría literaria que se hace llamar ecocriticismo.
