Abstract

Durante estos últimos años se ha incrementado a escala mundial el debate sobre las temáticas relacionadas con el Desarrollo Local. La literatura internacional recoge innumerables puntos de vista relacionados con el tema, pero dado el carácter que ha adquirido la globalización económica marcada por la aplicación de concepciones neoliberales traducidas en la consolidación de la centralización y la acumulación del capital y la constante evolución del entorno socioeconómico mundial se hace necesario actualizar en que condiciones objetivas se desarrollan los principales procesos e intentos de progreso en este sentido.
