Judo. Jornada De Homenaje Al Judoka Cubano

Abstract

Treinta y ocho años después de lograr la primera medalla de oro olímpica en Judo para Cuba y el continente americano, Héctor Rodríguez Torres regresa a su tierra para participar en una jornada de celebración del Día del Judo Cubano, fecha instituida en su honor, que se extendió por los territorios del municipio artemiseño de Guanajay, su tierra natal, Matanzas y La Habana, en actividades en las que compartió con la comunidad e hizo gala de su maestría técnica y docente en sendas clases demos­trativas del Judo actual a atletas adolescentes que representaron a la provincia de Artemisa en los recién finalizados XXXIV Juegos Escolares Nacionales y a miembros de la Escuela de Cinturones Negros de Judo de Matanzas.
