Abstract

La globalización llegó para transformar paulatinamente la percepción de fenómenos culturales en particular y las relaciones internacionales en general. Como consecuencia, Japón tuvo que enfrentar diversos retos que lo llevaron a trazar estrategias con el objetivo de alcanzar mayor protagonismo en la Comunidad Internacional. Dentro de ellas, la internacionalización de su cultura, pese a las visibles limitaciones que presenta, perfila como una de las más acertadas en torno a la inserción exitosa o no de Japón en este emergente contexto.
