Métodos de tratamiento del agua residual doméstica en Japón

Abstract

La experiencia japonesa muestra una preferencia por el establecimiento de medidas de prevención de contaminación acuática de largo plazo, en lugar de mecanismos temporales que intentan dar una solución de emergencia ambiental. Además, la competencia interministerial en la gestión de los sistemas de tratamiento de agua residual doméstica expresa una relación de responsabilidades compartidas y de genuina caracterización. El documento muestra la situación que ha experimentado el pueblo japonés respecto a la contaminación causada por el agua residual doméstica, destacándose la importancia que en los últimos veinte años se ha dado al control y regulación de la misma.
