Abstract

Los dos fenómenos naturales ocurridos en Japón en marzo del 2011, han sido los más grandes de su historia, un sismo de más de 9 grados en la escala de Richte y un tsunami con olas de hasta 10 metros; lo que afectó una de sus centrales nucleares y generó un estado de emergencia nuclear. Estos fenómenos no tienen precedentes, pues la nación nipona podría necesitar hasta cinco años para recuperarse de los efectos desastrosos del sismo y posterior tsunami, que causaron daños por 235 000 millones de dólares
