Abstract

El actual contexto internacional de crisis financiera global, impone significativos retos al desempeño de la economía japonesa, sobre todo porque, durante los últimos seis años, ha estado inmersa en un proceso de recuperación que cada vez se hace más frágil. Sin embargo, si bien los efectos de la actual crisis financiera se han sentido en Tokio con mayor fuerza que en otros grandes países asiáticos, no es menos cierto, que Japón está lejos de perder su condición de primera potencia económica regional y segunda mundial.
