Costos de calidad: evolución, conceptualización y actualidad

Abstract

Resulta indispensable en la actualidad lograr una buena posición en la competencia, por tanto nuestras empresas tienen la necesidad de ofrecer productos y servicios al menor costo posible, pero con un nivel de calidad óptimo, capaces de satisfacer las expectativas de los clientes y garantizar ingresos sostenidos a la organización. Es por esto que, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo, mostrar la evolución y el desarrollo de los costos de calidad y evaluar el comportamiento de estos en Cuba. Para ello se analizaron diversas definiciones de su concepto. Se concluye que el costo de calidad Es la suma de los Costos de Obtención de la Calidad (Prevención y Evaluación) más los Costos de los Fallos o Defectos (internos y externos).
