Capital social y turismo, alternativas reales de desarrollo local: el caso de Michoacán

Abstract

La implementación de políticas públicas de manera general, como lo es el caso de políticas regionales, no desencadena efectos similares en las localidades. Para el caso de Michoacán, si bien es cierto que la política federal de la Comisión Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos Indígenas (CDI) intentó acrecentar la identidad de la población y la participación ciudadana; dichas políticas no han logrado desencadenar condiciones propicias para un desarrollo socioeconómico real de mediano plazo; por el contrario, es probable que el efecto de este tipo de políticas, en el Estado, se conforme como un aspecto destructivo de participación ciudadana, capital social10 y, por ende, de las posibilidades reales de desarrollo de mediano y largo plazo.
