Evaluación de proyecto de cogeneración con MCI en la UEB LUDEMA

Abstract

El presente trabajo realiza un estudio para la generación combinada de electricidad y calor en la UEB Muebles LUDEMA , evaluando la factibilidad del diseño de un intercambiador de calor para la obtención de agua caliente y su utilización en el proceso productivo y otros servicios mediante tecnologías de cogeneración ,y darle un uso más eficiente al grupo electrógeno, con el aprovechamiento del calor de los gases de escape de la combustión durante el proceso productivo , teniendo en cuenta las características de la cogeneración, se aplica fundamentalmente, en instalaciones de baja capacidad, en este caso 449 kW. Tienen una alta eficiencia, hasta un 40 %.Su costo de inversión es relativamente bajo, requiere poco espacio, instalación sencilla y se ponen en marcha en corto tiempo. La relación calor/electricidad es baja. La energía térmica producida es de bajo potencial (agua caliente o vapor saturado de baja presión), considerando que la energía producida por el sistema de cogeneración se logra con un 66 % más de eficiencia que la producida y distribuida por la red nacional, y la reducción del impacto ambiental en su desempeño.
