Economía regional de Tailândia, Pará-Amazônia: uma análise da especialização produtiva sob a ótica da matriz do dinamismo municipal

Abstract

Por meio da classificação da dinâmica econômica do município de Tailândia foi possível identificar a estrutura produtiva deste município de 103.664 habitantes (população estimada em 2018) pertencente ao nordeste paraense. A identificação dos setores em declínio, dos setores estagnados, dos dinâmicos e dos setores propensos à expansão só foi possível por meio do uso dos indicadores apresentados por Santana (2004), são eles o Quociente Locacional (QL), o índice de concentração de Hirschman- Herfindahl (IHH) e o índice de Participação Relativa (PR). Ao empregar esses índices em cada atividade formal existente no município de Tailândia e tendo como variável o número de empregos formais de cada atividade no município no período entre 2010 e 2015, encontrou-se o dinamismo da estrutura Produtiva, mostrando as atividades produtivas mais dinâmicas de Tailândia.
