Abstract
Actualmente, los complejos mercados internacionales imponen la aplicación del marketing como proceso de gestión necesario para identificar y satisfacer las necesidades, deseos, preferencias y demandas de los clientes, es por ello que las empresas subordinadas al sector turÃstico en Cuba según las condiciones actuales de transformaciones económicas, polÃticas y sociales, tienen que investigar los mercados emisores para lograr mayor satisfacción de los consumidores y que a la vez se incrementen los ingresos. La Delegación Provincial del Turismo en la provincia MINTUR consta con una serie de carencias en la gestión de marketing del producto turÃstico Las Tunas que limitan la toma de decisiones por parte de los directivos. En este sentido, esta investigación tuvo como propósito identificar los gustos y preferencias del mercado emisor italiano, mediante la aplicación de la primera fase del procedimiento diseñado para realizar investigaciones de mercados emisores por (Pérez MartÃnez, 2010). Los resultados de esta investigación contribuyeron a dar solución al objetivo propuesto y asà contribuir a reducir las insuficiencias en la gestión del marketing turÃstico que limitan el desarrollo turÃstico en la provincia, y que además deben incrementar de manera sostenida las utilidades, diversificando los mercados emisores y segmentos de clientes, maximizando el ingreso medio por turista. También se identificaron un grupo de insatisfacciones e insuficiencias que afectan la comercialización del producto turÃstico, lo que influye significativamente en los resultados económicos del sector turÃstico en la provincia Las Tunas.
