Herramientas matemáticas para el análisis de riesgos de precio. Caso empresa Cubazucar

Abstract

El inestable panorama económico-financiero internacional exige a las empresas una actitud proactiva ante los riesgos y su eficiente administración, en aras de mejorar sus rendimientos e incrementar su valor. Cuba en su condición de economía pequeña y abierta, no se encuentra ajena a esta realidad. En especial las empresas encargadas de realizar las operaciones de comercio exterior, son altamente vulnerables a las condiciones de incertidumbre del mercado externo. Por esta razón se hace necesaria, en el marco de la Administración Integrada de Riesgos, la aplicación de una serie de herramientas de predicción y cuantificación de riesgos que reduzcan la arbitrariedad en las estimaciones. El presente artículo ilustra la aplicación de diferentes herramientas, que permiten mejorar la efectividad de los pronósticos realizados en la empresa CUBAZUCAR para anticipar los movimientos del mercado.
