Abstract

En la actualidad, aún existen compañías que desarrollan sus actividades de manera empírica; es decir, sin apegarse a un modelo administrativo que le permita a la alta dirección establecer funciones, procesos, procedimientos, políticas, recursos humanos y financieros necesarios para cumplir con los objetivos corporativos. Esta es una de las razones por las que muchas pequeñas y medianas empresas no logran mantenerse vigentes en el mercado, ya que por la ineficacia de sus operaciones presentan a largo plazo problemas administrativos que luego se terminan exteriorizando.
