Abstract

El sistema financiero es uno de los sectores más importantes de la economía dentro de un país, dado que estimula la liquidez y ayuda a la generación de empleo y producción en otros sectores económicos. En este sentido, la salud financiera del sistema bancario debe ser de fundamental interés para las instituciones supervisoras del sistema y para el Gobierno, debido a que el correcto funcionamiento del mismo puede causar efectos positivos, mientras que problemas de este sistema puede causar efectos negativos para un país.
