Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma análise sobre a inserção de grandes tecnologias no processo produtivo e como as mesmas podem impactar sobre a sociedade e economia, tendo como objeto de estudo a Impressora 3D. Com um breve histórico sobre os frutos gerados pelas três revoluções industriais, ressaltando o estado evolutivo atual da quarta revolução, inicia-se um levantamento bibliográfico e cases mercadológicos sobre empresas criadas para a perspectiva desta nova tecnologia, e como as mesmas foram beneficiadas por ela, gerando mudanças no ramo produtivo e visão de novos negócios, além de inovações na medicina e indústria automobilística, entre outras prestações de serviço.
