Proposta de melhoria do layout produtivo: estudo de caso em uma empresa do ramo moveleiro

Abstract

Planejar um layout produtivo parece simples e fácil, mas estudar qual realmente é a melhor forma de arranjo físico ideal e sincronizar os processos e tarefas de modo que os fluxos de produção obedeçam a uma ordem definida e racional necessita de um preparo técnico, tempo e também investimentos. Decidir qual o melhor layout a ser escolhido depende de características somatórias, como: volume, objetivos estratégicos do negócio e espaço disponível. Este trabalho tem o objetivo principal de demonstrar, através do estudo de caso em uma empresa do ramo moveleiro, que um layout bem definido permite uma melhor racionalização dos fluxos de fabricação e minimização da movimentação de pessoas, produtos e materiais dentro do processo, como resultado a redução do custo de produção e o melhor aproveitamento dos recursos disponíveis.
