Abstract

El control operativo de tránsito en el Ecuador se ha venido realizando con profesionales capacitados en el área de tránsito desde el 2012, lo que ha permitido la disminución del 7% de accidentes. Antes de esto el control operativo lo realizaba la policía pero con la nueva reforma de Ley de Transporte Terrestre Seguridad Vial, se entregó la competencia a una institución especializada en el tema de tránsito quienes han ido tomando en cuenta algunos factores influyentes en la seguridad vial en las carreteras, mediante un exhaustivo control en las vías.
