Desafios do Centro Nacional de Tecnologia Eletrônica Avançada S.A. para posicionar o Brasil como um player global

Abstract

Em 2009 o Governo Federal criou o Centro Nacional de Tecnologia Eletrônica Avançada S.A (CEITEC) no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, cuja missão era posicionar o país como um player global. Atualmente, a CEITEC projeta, fabrica e comercializa circuitos integrados para aplicações como identificação de animais, medicamentos, pessoas e veículos, gestão de inventário, dentre outras. Em face da relevância desempenhada pela CEITEC, este trabalho pretende apresentar seus resultados e desafios para cumprir sua missão, isto é, de que forma ela contribui ou pode contribuir para que o Brasil seja um ator influente no mercado internacional. A metodologia adotada para este trabalho consiste de um estudo bibliográfico e apresentação dos resultados financeiros e de gestão da CEITEC entre 2009 e 2016. Os resultados mostram a dificuldade financeira enfrentada pela estatal para não depender do Orçamento Federal e assim concorrer com empresas de maior porte no mercado internacional.
