Diseño de sistema de aprovisionamiento para una la línea de repuestos automotores. Caso de estudio

Abstract

La investigación se realizó para una línea de repuestos automotores en la ciudad de Ibarra en Ecuador. Con el objetivo de diseñar el sistema de aprovisionamiento para la empresa objeto de estudio y así satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes en tiempo, cantidad y especificaciones. Esto, se logró a través de un análisis de los datos históricos de ventas durante 3 años. La clasificación ABC se realizó para un total de 159 artículos del tipo C, 95 tipo B y 63 tipo A; este último grupo de artículos, a través del uso de software estadístico ForecastPro Trac se procedió a la ejecución de las previsiones de ventas de cada artículo. Debido a la demanda estable que se exhibe ya la importancia de cada artículo, así como al valor obtenido del coeficiente de variabilidad, se aplicó el modelo EOQ. La ejecución del modelo seleccionado permitió obtener costos más bajos, estableciendo la cantidad óptima de pedidos, así como el momento en que se realiza el nuevo pedido, teniendo en cuenta el inventario de seguridad de los productos.
