Exportación de baby banana (banana orito) al mercado de Alemania

Abstract

El Ecuador se ha mantenido según Proecuador (2015) como uno de los principales exportadores de banano a nivel global, diferenciando su producto por la calidad superior, en cuanto a sabor y dimensiones del fruto, no obstante, pese a lo mencionado, el Ecuador se ha caracterizado por exportar en mayor medida y por ende ser reconocido por su guineo Cavendish, no siendo este la única clase de banano que se produce en suelo nacional. En tal relación, la asociación Muyuyacu, produce en mayores cantidades el fruto conocido como baby banana, direccionando su consumo tan solo al mercado interno y venta a intermediarios, a razón de no contar con una herramienta que les permita determinar y sistematizar los procesos que incurren en la exportación del baby banana, así como desconocer las técnicas e instrumentos que les permitan analizar la demanda y el comportamiento de un mercado internacional.
