Open government e sua importância nas políticas públicas: um enfoque em Governo eletrônico

Abstract

Devido à abrangência relativa ao aprofundamento bibliográfico e conceituação do tema proposto, este estudo pretende balizar uma reflexão introdutória aos conceitos de open government focalizando o governo eletrônico como principal ferramenta para as políticas públicas no Brasil. Para um governo em constante crescimento e pressão política, é fundamentalmente importante que sejam inovados os conceitos de participação pública, tendo em vista a reciprocidade entre gestão pública e cidadãos. Além disso, a abertura dos dados públicos inerentes às Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação através de um governo eletrônico, com frequente atualização à sociedade, garante a transparência política e democrática, atenuando a ruptura do conhecimento e expandindo sua governança através da participação, integração e desenvolvimento sustentável.
