Estrategias comerciales para fortalecimiento de la industria del calzado de cuero en Guayaquil, a partir de la instauracion de salvaguardias en el año 2015

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta algunas estrategias que podrían servir de guía de acción para impulsar el desarrollo de la industria del calzado de cuero en Guayaquil, mejorando la productividad y competitividad de los fabricantes. Los métodos empíricos utilizados para recoger y analizar la información, permitieron evaluar el impacto de las salvaguardias en este sector productivo. Como resultado de esta investigación se pudo constatar que en el caso de la industria del calzado las salvaguardias limitaron la importación de productos foráneos parar proteger e incentivar la producción nacional y la exportación de bienes. No obstante, aún se requiere de acciones que permitan un mayor crecimiento de la producción y que pudieran estar determinadas por la declaración de estrategias de comercialización.
