Programación lineal. Caso de estudio. Maximización de utilidades aplicando el método gráfico mediante software libre

Abstract

La investigación propone el uso de la programación lineal para la toma de decisiones y de esta forma conseguir una combinación óptima de producción en el entorno de los negocios, en función de este criterio se ha formulado un problema de programación lineal partiendo de la teoría para establecer la mezcla de productos a elaborarse de acuerdo a las restricciones establecidas en el caso de estudio. El uso de software libre permitió correlacionar la teoría de resolución de ejercicios de programación lineal, se pudo cotejar paso a paso el procedimiento, desde la definición de variables del problema, especificación de restricciones; hasta la obtención de la solución factible en forma gráfica determinada en el primer cuadrante del plano Cartesiano. Finalmente se generó la tabla de las posibles soluciones, existiendo una única solución que permite optimizar los recursos, específicamente maximizando las utilidades en el caso de estudio.
