Abstract

Las tarjetas de crédito o dinero plástico juegan un rol importante en la financiación de una persona, porque puede ser utilizada en la cancelación de pagos rápidos e inesperados, sin que el usuario disponga de dinero en efectivo sin embargo su inadecuado uso y mala administración, produce que el beneficiario caiga en un endeudamiento involuntario puesto que el individuo no mide sus transacciones y termina realizando pagos de uso de bienes poco importantes, generando altos intereses y que por desconocimiento, es imposible cubrir el monto total de la deuda afectando así su economía familiar, es así como las personas comienzan a realizar lo que se conoce como gimnasia financiera que consiste en restringirse en actividades básicas para poder cubrir la desfinanciación o si cuenta con otra tarjeta de crédito, utilizar la misma para cumplir con la obligación de la otra formándose una rueda de endeudamiento que conlleva a un sobreendeudamiento.
